Whether you are an elite paddler or a leisurely weekend paddler, our Paddle Protect Paddle Craft & Equipment insurance policy for paddlers will protect your craft against accidental damage and/or theft (including equipment, and accessories). We will help you protect your financial investment so you can stay on the water enjoying the sport that you love!
What are the policy benefits?

- Theft with forcible entry, Accidental Damage, Fire and Damage in Transit

Please note that Paddle Protect (Paddle Craft & Equipment Insurance) does not include Public Liability Insurance. Public Liability Insurance is provided separately as a benefit of Paddle Australia Membership and covers third‑party injury and property damage. What type of Paddle Craft and equipment are covered?
- Any number of paddle craft
- Paddles
- Life Jackets
- All associated marine equipment (ie: radio apparatus, echo sounders, navigation equipment, helmets, dinghies and sound apparatus)
What is not covered?
- Public liability insurance is not a part of the Paddle Protect craft insurance. To have Public liability insurance you must be a current member of Paddle Australia. To take out Paddle Austalia membership please go to paddle.org.au/membership
How to apply?
